The bats have left the bell tower

Tis done!
Silver Collar is now in the capable hands of my editor Cindy Cresap (All hail), and will be available this December in time for the Christmas shopping stampede. Be sure to stomp somebody special this Yuletide to get your copy. Or, if you are of a gentler disposition, order now and then forget about it and have a lovely surprise later. Happens to me all the time.
I'll be reading from Silver Collar at the Nottingham BSB event on 4th -5th August. That's Nottingham UK, not Nottingham New Hampshire, or Nottingham Maryland, or even Nottingham Pennsylvania. Wouldn't want you to get all excited for nothing.

I just finished Silver Collar and like all the Garoul series, I really enjoyed it - Thanks for the good read!
After reading the preview chapter in Ambereye I was worried about empathizing with Luc but I ended up enjoying her character quite a lot, more than Ren actually. It was nice seeing the other Garouls pop up, Jolie is my favorite, she cracks me up.
My only criticism is that a Model 70 is not a lever action, it's a bolt action rifle with a Mauser claw extractor. I'm a hunter and shooter so gun errors, which are frightfully common, take me right out of the story.
Thanks again, I hope you keep adding to this series, there's just not enough lesbian werewolf romance out there. :)

Just finished Silver Collar. Loved it and wanting more... when's the next in the series going to be available?!

Just read silver collar. Great book. Love the way you portray the garoul world. Hopefully you'll have another book in the series. maybe there will be a rival clan in Europe or asia and they fought but fall in love kind of thing. Lol star cross lovers is a bit cliche.

Hi Anons - glad the book worked for you. I'm not sure when the next one will come out as I am working on a different project at the moment.
FYI, about the rival clan and star x'ed lovers thing...I mentioned a Greek Were clan early on in the series for that very plot point. Clever. You. :)

Loved your work. Any plan of a book coming soon?

Hallo Gill McKnight!
I have read quite some lez books, but yours simply are the best. I love the unforeseeable story lines and the humour you present in your books especially "Green Eyed Monster" and the Garoul series! I have not laughed that much in a very long time and a nice side-effect is that I can improve my english vocabulary - I am from Germany.
Do you intend to extend the Garoul series? Maybe on or even 2 more parts????? I Would love that!

Best wishes to you wherever your are, Silke

Hi Silke, glad you liked the books, and your English is really good. Thank you for commenting on my blog. :)
I have a few more ideas for the Garouls, but want to begin another series idea I have, and of course a few stand alone books I started ages ago and would love to get finished. So the Gs are not forgotten, they are just resting for a while.

Just finished reading through the Garoul books for a third time, and I really want to say a big thank you for writing them. I love your characters and your sense of humour, and I am really looking forwards to reading what you write next. As a straight french guy, I feel the probability of discovering your books was pretty low, and I feel very lucky having found an author like you. Please write lots more!

Hi Anon, really pleased you liked the books and that the humour translated well. I intend to write more, esp for a readership as kind as you.

Hello Gill, Thank you so much for writing the books you do. I'm particularly fond of the Garoul series. Jolie and Luc are definitely my favorites. The comedy in their thinking keeps me in stitches and coming back for more. I've already read both Ambereye and Silver Collar 3 times each in the few months I've had them. I am eagerly awaiting your next works!

Hi Michele, thank you so much for your kind comments. I'm glad the Garoul series is entertaining for you. There will be more in the series but I have no firm dates as yet. I'd like to get a few other ideas down on paper first :)

I'm looking at your avatar/photo, that looks like a serious camera!

Hello! :) I just finished reading Silver Collar, and maaannn do I love these books. I think my favorite couple is Hope and Jolie, their chemistry and interactions are so cute. Their few scenes in Silver Collar (like the cookie scene) made me fall for them all over again. Please say they'll be in your next works, maybe with cubs on the way. ;)

Hi Anon, sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I was travelling and have only just managed to catch up with my emails and messages etc.
Thank you for taking time to tell me that you like the Garoul series. I'm not sure what is in the pipeline for them next, but I have a strong suspicion it will be Marie and Connie's back story. I'll start on it after 'Soul Selecta' (the new book) is sent off to my editor, and that will hopefully be very soon :)
cheers, Gill

Hey Gill,

I've noticed that more and more of the BoldStrokes books are getting audiobook version made. Are there any plans to for Garoul audiobooks?

Not much to say really... said...

Hi AudioAnon, thanks for posting. I'm not too sure what the process is for audio book selection. I think it is more or less initiated by Audiobooks rather than BSB. There should be a tick box on the Amazon site by each book description that can be used if the reader would like to propose the book for audio, but I've no idea how far that tick goes towards action of any kind. :)
cheers, Gill
