A quick blog out of guilt more than anything interesting happening.

I’m in Eressos for a while, working on the house and when I get fed up with that, working on the next book. It’s shaping up to be urban fantasy, and the working title is Cool Side of the Pillow. So far it’s fun to do.

Indigo Moon is in the capable hands of my editor, Cindy Cresap now, so I can relax and wait for the real work to begin – always a busy time.

Meanwhile I drive, and plod, around Lesbos and enjoy the island. Worries and woes just melt off my bones when I am here. It's a beautiful place. I love it dearly.

Just wanted to let you know that I am enjoying the Garoul series. I originally read Goldenseal on the Athenaeum when it was called "Lil Red," I believe. I went out and bought Goldenseal as soon as it came out, and was slightly disappointed mainly because I loved the original so much, however, it does have a permanent place on my bookshelf. I just finished Ambereye, and absolutely loved it! Laughed my way through the book. The fights over the chair and stapler were priceless. I am very much looking forward to Indigo Moon. Thank you.

Thanks Anon :)
I suppose Lil Red was the primer for the Garoul series. I wrote it an age ago and the possibilities for the werewolf clan kept swilling in my head and so Goldenseal emerged. It had to be different from Red as it was an introduction to the Garoul world, and also had to allow me to bounce on into the story of Jolie and Hope, and now, of course onto Indigo Moon.
I think Indigo is possibly truer to certain elements of Red than either of the other Garoul books. (Well maybe? You can let me know.).
I am currently making a start on book four, Silver Collar, but in between the wolfies I also write other romances. Keeps me head calm. Cheers for the comments.

Cate - it's a pic of a tree and a fish restaurant. What more do you want? :)

Just to say thanks for the enjoyable reads! I picked up Goldenseal at the beginning of last week with a bunch of other books off Bold Strokes Books' website and haven't put any of them down. I've ended up buying all your books this week, and have literally just finished reading Ambereye. It was a wonderful read, so I just wanted to say thanks for writing such a lovely story.
I look forward to Indigo Moon, with somewhat of an impish impatience ;)

Hi Gill! I really love the Garoul series. I was wondering why don't you write a book about how Marie and Connie met and fell in love? It would be great to know more about them. Thank you.
